Mary Brewer
On Monday March 28th Christine and myself attended the funeral of one of our long standing and remarkable members, Mary Brewer. She was 103 and had been a member of CYTA since 2004.
She lived and attended yoga classes in her local area of Sale. Some of you may remember her at our events, which she attended as often as possible, until she informed me, in 2018, that she was ceasing to drive ‘out of town’. She was a wonderful example of a yoga practitioner as she continued to practice. I found her quite an inspiration, and after hearing the tribute & eulogy about her interesting and busy life, she was certainly a person to greatly admire.
